
Ingredients (for 1 or 2 people)
- 1/2 avocado
- 2 glasses of cold milk of your choice
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- sweetener of choice, such as 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup or stevia
- 1 pinch salt
- A little protein powder (optional)
Preparation (5min)
- Peel the avocado and discard the pit.
- Blend all ingredients until smooth.
- Feel free to stir in a few coconut milk ice cubes for a super-thick, ice-cream-like
- smoothie, if you like.
- Serve cold. Leftovers can be covered and refrigerated for up to 3 days. Recipe yields about 2 glasses.
To make coconut milk ice cubes, simply freeze coconut milk in an ice cube tray. Don't add ordinary ice cubes, as this will dilute the flavor of the smoothie.
