HEALTHY DETOX AVOCADO SMOOTHIE

Ingredients (for 1 or 2 people)

  • 1/2 avocado
  • 2 glasses of cold milk of your choice
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • sweetener of choice, such as 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup or stevia
  • 1 pinch salt
  • A little protein powder (optional)

Preparation (5min)

  • Peel the avocado and discard the pit.
  • Blend all ingredients until smooth.
  • Feel free to stir in a few coconut milk ice cubes for a super-thick, ice-cream-like
  • smoothie, if you like.
  • Serve cold. Leftovers can be covered and refrigerated for up to 3 days. Recipe yields about 2 glasses.

To make coconut milk ice cubes, simply freeze coconut milk in an ice cube tray. Don't add ordinary ice cubes, as this will dilute the flavor of the smoothie.
