
Enjoy the fresh, vibrant taste of a homemade pear smoothie. Our quick and easy recipe is packed with delicious flavors of both sweet and tart pear and kale.
Ingredients - 1 or 2 people
- 1 medium-sized ripe banana, cut into pieces
- 1 medium pear, seeded and diced
- 2/3 cup almond milk
- 2 to 4 slices peeled fresh ginger, or to taste
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped kale
- 1 cup ice cream
Preparation
- Gather ingredients
- In a blender, add the banana, pear, almond milk, ginger, honey, vanilla extract and ground cinnamon. Add the kale, then the ice cream on top to weigh everything down.
- Blend until perfectly smooth. Depending on your blender, 2 to 3 minutes may be enough. You may need to stop the blender halfway through and push the ingredients with a spoon to make sure they're all well blended.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your pear kale smoothie.
