
A delicious Greek yogurt smoothie made with healthy ingredients like strawberries, banana, oatmeal and peanut butter. It's packed with protein to fill you up!
Ingredients (serves 2)
- 2 cups frozen whole strawberries or mixed berries
- 2 medium-sized ripe bananas, peeled and cut into pieces
- 1.5 cups fat-free plain Greek yogurt
- 4 tablespoons rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter or almond butter
- 2 to 4 teaspoons honey
- Water or unsweetened almond milk if necessary
- Ice (optional)
Preparation - 5 min
- Place all ingredients except the ice cream in a blender: strawberries, banana, Greek yogurt, rolled oats, peanut butter and 1 teaspoon honey.
- Blend until smooth. Depending on the size and power of your blender, you may need to stop it and scrape down the pitcher several times.
- If the mixture is too thick to blend, add a little water or almond milk, stir to move the contents of the blender and blend again. If it's too thin, add a few ice cubes.
- Taste and add honey if you want the smoothie to be sweeter.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
